Alternate Fuel Source

Featured Replies

I was looking into various types of alternative fuels, and I happened to read an article on algae being used to produce a useable oil. I have alot of seaweed nearby and I was wondering if it was possible to extract oil from this and possibly use it in a small engine. If this is possible would someone be able to explain how I would go about extracting the oil?

Thanks,

Newfie

How big is the engine? If you got like a rc car/plane engine you should try to power it on propane (would just be cool), What about vegetable oil?

I dont know anything about the algea oil but you might try google (i.e. extracting fuel from algea, or fuel from algea).
