Severian
A new site has recently come online at http://www.particlephysics.ac.uk all about particle physics. In particular, there are some quite nice (basic) presentations of the fundamental principles under the 'explore' heading. It hink it is worth a look for anyone who is interested in this sort of thing.

timo
I like all the info about the new project at CERN. I can't wait til 2007 to see what discoveries they make! I didn´t browse the pages Severian suggested but if you´re interested in CERN and especially the LHC you could also visit the CERN homepage itself: http://www.cern.ch . At first, the page might seem a bit confusing but there´s a lot of information to be found there.
