Does anyone know what does the romanised Japansese word "onni" means in the phrase "onii" emans in the phrase "onii-san"? I knows what san means but does onii means brother or is it a name? Thanks

It means brother, yes. Interestingly, if you drop the last i, it means 'goblin'
