Conceptual Posted October 19, 2005 Share Posted October 19, 2005 If there any reason why the earth's magnetic field lines up with the north and south pole? Nasa data indicates that seismic waves travel faster N-S than E-W showing that the center of the earth is structurally organized with respect to the poles.
