Chess is a "mathematical" space game that can be played in various space dimensions. This flexibility suggests that similar chess variations could exist in other civilizations.

Overview

Theory and concept of evolving chess pieces

The concept of evolving chess pieces originates from the idea of evolution itself and the movement of the queen piece, which combines the abilities of both a rook and a bishop.

This unique capability has inspired a new way to play: players can combine two simple chess pieces (a rook and a bishop) to create a more complex piece, such as a queen.

This process can be reversed, allowing players to convert complex pieces into simpler ones. Notably, this transformation can be applied to all chess pieces except kings.

You play your "rook" on your "bishop" and make a "queen."

οr You play your "bishop" on your "rook" and make a "queen."

(and reverse) You play the "rook" (of the "queen"), and behind remains the "bishop."

or You play the "bishop" (of the "queen"), and behind remains the "rook."

LEGO-made chess pieces are used to simplify this evolved version of chess. These pieces indicate their movement and transformation abilities through their shapes. This concept can extend to all chess pieces except the two Kings, allowing players to alter their strategy dynamically during the game.

In the above image :

1.      The Yellow-Knight "moves" on a Yellow "Officer-soldier" and

2.     The Black Knight "moves" on a Black "Rook-soldier."

( and "each" player is left on the "Board" with one chesspiece "less").

image.png

( on the Left You are adding chesspieces “together” )

( in the Right You are “separating” them again )

on the Middle You “see” the DOUBLE arithmetic “values”

Like ( “001” = “3” ) ( “010” = “5” ) ( “100” = “7” ) of “each” Chesspiece”.

(where “001” & “010” & “100” are for the “addition” : ( 001+010+100 = 111 )

and “3” & “5” & “7” are for the “multiplication”: ( 3*5*7 = 105 ).

So, “111” shows to the Computer THAT the “complex-pawn” plays Like a “Knight” and a “Bishop” and a “Rook” !...

And “105” = “3*5*7” shows to the Computer into “which” ???... “simple-pawns” ???... can the “complex-pawn” separated “again”.

( “133” = “7*5*5*5*3*3*3” = “23625” )

Chessboards

The evolved chess game utilizes both an 8x8 chessboard and a 4x4x4 chessboard. This dual-board system allows players to move pieces between the two boards, highlighting the connection between the dimensions. The formula [8x8] = 64 = [4x4x4] = 64 highlights this relationship. Players can move their pieces between these boards, as the number of squares (64) on the 8x8 board can be represented in the 4x4x4 cube.

image.png

( The “complex-pawn” is made from (1) a BLUE-“Rock” and (2) a WHITE-“Bishop” and (3) a GREEN-“Knight” ! )

The 21st Century Chess

This evolving chess variant introduces additional pieces and strategies, such as players can utilize eight rooks, eight bishops, and eight knights by both players on the [8x8] chessboard. Lego-like chess pieces can visually represent the different combinations and transformations, showing their state and movement capabilities.

The 21st Century Chess has all the above feautures !
