Sb2O3 ---> Sb2S3

Is there a way to convert oxide to sulfide

Thanks

Dissolve in HCl (forms a soluble chloro-stibnate (III) complex) and slowly add an excess of sodium sulfide while stirring constantly. The nice orange/red precipitate of Sb2S3 separates from the liquid.

Do this experiment in a good fumehood or outside. A lot of free H2S is formed as well!
