Right i know from T.V. and the web that there are shops called radio shack in america and they sell all sorts of spare electrical components and stuff like that but is there anything similar in the U.K. or more specifically Glasgow, Scotland?

I haven't been able to find places that sell resistors and stuff just appliances and gizmos.
