Just to add info for anyone outside readin this.

 

Meth/ethanol spirts. distill it to remove that purple colour.

Add the copper sulphate (thats had the water removed)

Then most of this will sink to the bottom and turn more blue from white.

Also some of the denaturing additives (grubbles....) will turn brown'ish.

Still again and its should be done, add a little more copper sulphate and it should just sink and not change the colour of the liquid.

 

collect you copper sulphate and dry for another day. :)

 

Just wanted to add some closure to this thread, :)

you`ll not effectively alter Pyridine with CuSO4, it`s a B!tch to get rid off! (and they know it, that`s why they use it) :(
