Moved:

Featured Replies

When a thread gets "moved." Is it at all possible to say where it's moved to? Like, instead of a thread saying "Moved:" Could it say "Moved to ________:" Or making the link still take you to the thread, wherever it gets moved to? Or is there a way to do this that I haven't found.

The link to a moved thread does still take you to the thread.

Actually, it gives me a message saying...

BobbyJoeCool, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I don't know if it helps but this is the page the top one that has been moved (currently) in the GD board gives me..

Link

LOL, the link works fine here :))

it`s a privilege thing, stuff moved to the removed area is for mods and admins only, that`s all, nowt complicated :)

so when it says "moved" sometimes it means deleted (or inaccessable)?

yup, sometimes.

in the case of that particular link that you specified, it was removed because the thread request was inapropriate.

Inaccessible, yes.

It's in the "removed threads" forum, which is where offensive posts or spam threads go.

Moderators should not be leaving a trail behind when they move threads there. I'll remind them.

Thanks for pointing that out.
