Hello,

 

Could any one suggest me how to synthesize diastereomer using amino acids (D-Tryptothan/D-Lysine/D-Glutamic acid) and chiral alcohol so that enantiomer excess can be calculated?

 

 

Which is suitable chiral alcohol for the reaction?

What is the simplest chiral alcohol that you can think of? How can one imagine linking an alcohol to an amino acid (which functional group on the amino acid would you chose)/
