Can someone define entropy and enthalypy in terms easy to understand?

entropy is a measurement of the amount of energy in a physical system that can be used to do work.

 

enthalpy is the internal energy of matter+pressure*volume

Entropy is also more commonly known as a measurement of 'disorder' in a system. A higher entropy means a higher 'disorder'.
