  1. This happens to me, and has happened since I was a child. I have a theory with a very simple explanation - you are dehydrated. The fest is, large doses of water well make anyone dehydrated, with the potential to kill them. Your body may be so used to existing at a dehydrated state that it's sending false messages to your brain that your intake is at dangerous levels. If you don't drink waste very often because you don't like it, you may be like me and consume a lot of diuretics, only adding to your dehydration problem. My advice (and hopefully I will follow my own advice) is to stay away from soda, coffee, tea, and cranberry juice, and to drink milk and juice diluted with water, while upping your "dosages"of water slowly. I find that I can handle only about ten sips of water during my normal state of dehydration, but can drink an entire cup when extremely dehydrated (that is, when I can actually tell that I'm thirsty without having to think about it).Let me know if this works out for you.
