I recall that several years ago there was some literature that explained what was often assumed to be impulse was actually grounded in a stream of emotional logic. So when someone made a purchase and has the sense that "something just told me that I had to have it"; there was an emotional chain of logic that could explain why that was not just a random idea out of the blue. If anyone can steer me towards research on this I would be very grateful Thanks Keith
