  1. You can start from looking at Urey-Miller experiment. They tried to experimentally mimic the prebiotic earth environment and how it can lead to formation of simple organic compounds such as amino acids. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller–Urey_experiment For more details such as experimental conditions and chemicals you can try to find the book written by Alexander Oparin "The origin of life" where further details of the experiment and results are given. But none of them are final theory, these are just experimental proofs which suggest some possible ways how life could have originated on earth.
  2. Bacterias are prokarotes ,very primitive organisms so for them mutations are easy to withstand. Whereas rotifers are multicellular eukaryotes ,for them fast mutations are really dangerous as you may have learnt about them in genetics . And that is why they are so much considered. If rotifers don't interests you much then read about tardigrades ,they also have many properties like rotifers and even better than that, and experiments conducted on them .They are like superman of animal world. May be then rotifers interests you!
  3. What if I heat the plastic enough that it don't melt and then bend it? Will it cause the same effect as before or it won't get white?
  4. Why do soft plastic (like of chair or toy) become white on bending it ,irrespective of its original color?
  5. According to aufbau principle 4s will fill before 3d orbital because it has lower energy ,OK ,but now I read that in scandium and other 3d elements ,when donating electrons 4s will go first and then 3d .So please explain me why this happens , didn't found any explanations in books I have ,and on Google I found that this is because higher principal number of 4s,but it looks like more of a definition than explanation.
  6. please tell me what erythrosine can stain and where i can use erythrosin in biological staining ?
  7. i was making slide of curd after incubating(left it in a vial) for 2 weeks with crystal violet. first time i heat fixed it and stained it with crystal violet and then iodine solution , i got brilliantly purple colored bacteria but when i made slide without heat fixing(i.e. live) they weren't the same and not even stained properly . so please tell me do dyes work differently on dead and alive specimen ?
  8. Today i got to know about "ocean borders"(which i read was -'a boundary in between indian ocean and atlantic ocean') , are they real ?? i searched about it on internet but got nothing useful . there are some videos too on the internet that shows the boundaries (between blue and brown water) , so i think it is real , but how that can happen , why there is a boundary ? please give some reasonable scientific explanations ..
  9. would any of you please explain it in context of biology . i appreciate you for your time but tell me one thing is there any difference in amount of chromosome and number of chromosome if there is a difference then please let me know because i was thinking of it as same
  10. how is it possible that in mitosis , after s- phase , the amount of DNA gets double but chromosome number remains the same ?
  11. OK , I know mo theory but just want it to know it in more basis language but that link was also enough so thanks
  12. According to MO theory two types of molecular orbitals are formed b/w bonding atoms ,bonding and antibonding , and it is due to the interference in phases(in or out) of electron wave .but waves are continuous (not descrete at trough and crests)so in molecular orbitals why only two types of orbitals are created(bonding and antibonding)and not many else due to interference of other parts of waves .
  13. OK got it and thanks for the link it has illustrated more than I wanted but can u also explain it without the use of molecular orbital theory ,I mean in simple language And thanks
  14. Recently , when I was reading about molecular orbital theory I came by molecule c2 (dicarbon) it was told that there are two π-bonds b/w the two carbon and no sigma bond ,so please any one will explain it to me ?
  15. ya i know that but i was asking about the electron wave of a single(or many or i dont know how much) electron in empty space or just simply space as swansont told
  16. ok , i think electron cannot oscillate itself because as we know to cause any change in momentum we need an external force and (i think) there is nothing around an electron (in wave) which provide force to it . atleast in newtonian mechanics it happens but in quantum mechanics , i dont know
  17. how do a cell differentiate b/w meiosis and mitosis ? i mean how do it get to know that it have to do one of them and not the other ?
  18. which thing oscillates in a matter wave like electric field and magnetic field in a light wave ? my brother told me that its a topic of quantum mechanics so it will be hard to under stand so would any of u please explain it in a simple way ?
  19. What is the significanc (not use) of spindle fibers in a cell division ?
  20. so the origin of salt is not known ??
  21. Ankit Gupta

    sea salt

Does any body know from where all that salt came into the sea and oceans ? lake or river water do not contain any salt so from where
  22. now comes the main question , if this so then gravitational force on earth due to sun and on moon due to earth will increase as gravitational force is directly proportional to masses of bodies and hence will the distance between sun and earth, and earth and moon will not decrease and we are going closer to them day by day. And if this not change then which thing is going to change.
  23. In a science fiction show they were telling that due to space dust earth's mass increases with millions of ton per day , is it real ?
