  1. New to organic chemistry and I'm only in high school chemisty. I heard from some where that if given time humans could stop breathing gasous oxygen and switch to liquid oxygen. I looked up the requirements to maintain liquid oxygen you need to keep it at -118 degrees so what would you chemically combine with this substance to raise the temperature at which it becomes gasous.
  2. No standing in front of a microwave does not give you cancer heat or melt your organs or give you radiation sickness. My dad use to say the same thing about microwaves when I was little. Next the microwaves would effect your skin and blood before your other internal organs microwaves simply vibrate the water molecules up, but you would need direct exposure from a satellite dish for it to happen quickly or for it to be high powered. MICROWAVES DO NOT KILL PEOPLE, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE!!!
  3. I want to get into science and computer programming in college. I know physics has lots of math in and so do some parts of chemistry, but what about biology. I would like to look at biology, but I don't know what parts of biology to look are there any that have to do with a lot of mathmatics. Thank you for all answers.

  5. Hi I'm just getting into genetics I have my high school biology text book as one resource. Could any one help me find more resources ebooks, online articles, and books. Type of genetics research does not matter Im just getting started so thanks for all replies:eek:
  6. I want to study genetics because its really interesting to me, but I don't know how to jump into the subject. My biology class hasn't started on genetics yet and when we do I don't think we go into it so I need things like online resources names of books stuff like that. thanks for all replies.
  7. How can a teenager get into genetics in some way. Im open to any suggestions thank you.
