  1. I am doing a titration for school between sodium hydroxide and vinegar. I have no idea what the equation might be so I completely guessed. I was wondering if someone could help me by telling if it's right or not the reaction equation is: CH3CO2H + NaOH --> NaCH3 + CO2 + H2O If it is not correct can someone please tell why and how I may be able to improve it? Thanks a lot
  2. How would I find the height of a point in a projectile? Not the maximum height but rather any point on the projectile. I am given the range and I already have the max height, the time at the max. height and of course the acceleration
  3. here is this question in my text book that is as follows: "when P(z) is divided by z2-3z+2 the remainder is 4z-7. Find the remainder when P(z) is divided by: a) z-1 b) z-2" It does not tell me what P(z) is and the example does not explain this kind of question and they are all like this. I am very confused and would really like some help!!
  4. Can sodium oxide conduct electricity in solution? I know it can't when its solid. Another thing, Does it have a high melting point? Would it conduct electricity in its molten form?
  5. first of all I would like to know how to simplify the following cos (-t)cos t - sin (-t)sin t? I have tried but i can't seem to get it. I get stuck. The other thing I am wondering about is why does cos(a-b) = cos (b-a) and sin(a-b) = sin(b-a)? I am not really sure how to put it in words but I think it is because they are both on the positive side of the x-axis but not both on the positive of the y-axis. I'm I on the right track or not?
  6. Can someone please explain to me how I can find sin, cos and tan from a unit circle?
  7. I am looking at motion and learnt that the velocity can negative while the acceleration positive, so i wondered whether the velocity and acceleration could be in different direction or did the have to be both in the same Direction? And I also have another question: What does it mean when the acceleration is negative? I didn't understand the textbook.
  8. I would like to ask why is it that the skin tends to wrinkle when one goes or is in the water for a period of time? This has baffled me for a long time. My mum says it is because the skin becomes dehydrated.
  9. Hello I was cusrios to find out whether an objects velocity can be zero at the same instant that its acceleration is not zero. I am not confident about my answer which was pretty much a no and I gave an example about throwing ball in the air. I was also not sure about a a question that said: if an object has a greater speed, does it necessarily have a greter acceleration. I answered yes and gave an example of a car but I am not confident of my answer. I would really appreciate the help. Thank you
