  1. Hi, I can't seem to figure out the part to do with the sum of his daughters ages since it's not mentioned? I know for example that 36 has the factors: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, and 36 and that the sets of 3 are: 1x1x36, 1x2x18, 1x3x12, 1x4x9, 1x6x6, 2x2x9, 2x3x6, 3x3x4 If I am to sum the sets you would get: 38, 21, 16, 14, 13, 13, 11 and 10. I could rule one out being 1x6x6 since this wouldn't give the oldest daughter but since I don't know the sum of the daughters ages then the rest would be valid? Am I missing something here since there should be only one answer? I'd be grateful if it could be explained?
