New poster here, thought this thread belonged here in Speculation. Can someone explain to me if this would or would not work? Basically, use the slingshot effect of planetary bodies to speed up several crafts that are attached to a stationary track in orbit around the earth, to generate power infinitely. Considering that each craft would be sped up to about 20,000 MPH or greater, this could generate a lot of power.

Time is an invention of mankind, it doesn't exist. It was created due to the illusion of day and night cycles, which are nothing more than the effects of sunlight exposure as the earth rotates. It is a very useful concept to "measure" distances or to separate one memory from a different memory, but time is not something that actually exists or can be manipulated.
