or what about .050 M of NaOH??

but that's the question that i'm asking...the vinegar's concentration doesn't change when water is added and i don't know why that is???

Why can you add about 20mL of water to about 5 ml of vinegar and it not have any effect on determining the concentrations when doing a titration??

HELP ME!!
For which of the following equations is the enthalpy change at 25°C and 1 atm equal to
DH(HCOOH(l))?
a. C(s) + H2(g) + O2(g) HCOOH(l)
b. C(s) + 2H(g) + 2O(g) HCOOH(l)
c. C(g) + 2H(g) + 2O(g) HCOOH(l)
d. CO2(g) + H2(g) HCOOH(l)
e. CO(g) + H2O(l) HCOOH(l)

When ammonium nitrate undergoes decomposition, only gases are produced, according to the equation
NH4NO3 > N2O + 2H2O
What is the total volume of gases produced at 546K and 1 atm pressure when 240g of ammonium nitrate undergoes the above decomposition reaction?
a) 9 x 22.4L b) 6 x 22.4L c) 12 x 22.4L d) 18 x 22.4L e) 3 x 22.4L
I got (a) but I'm not sure if i did it correctly...All I did was I found mols of H20 and mols of N20 which were 6 and 3, respectively. Then I added them to get 9 and picked a. I'm pretty sure this is totally wrong but I was trying to do PV=nRT but I didn't know how.

Nevermind, I got it using the mole frations...3mols of N/total mols (6) = Pressure of N/total pressure...Answer is 450...man, i gotta try to read the questions more clearly

How would I figure out this question?
1. what is the partial pressure of nitrogen in a container that contains 2 mos of oxygen, 3 mols of nitrogen, and 1 mol of carbon dioxide wehn the total pressure is 900 mmHg
I want to try and learn how to do the question...so if anyone could help that would be great...THANKS!!

How do you find the radius of a zinc atom using avagadro's number (6.02 x 10>23), the density of zinc (7.13 g/ml), weight of 1 mol of zinc (65.4 g) and using V=4/3 (pie) r (cubed). I don't just need the answer i wanna know how to do a problem like this! THANKS
