  1. I posted here, without reading all of the posts in this thread. I am sorry for my rude, and un-thought response. So I just (kinda) edited my first post. I am Sorry. Another forum member mentioned Stephan hawking, as a person like you, who also goes through life, with difficult times. And I hope you can be somewhat like him. And I really hope, you see a doctor on a regular basis Sir. I actually lived with my grandmother for many years, and she was also disabled like yourself. And I know that it can be hard at times. But no matter what she said, she always hung in there. I know there's nothing I can say, but I hope you always hang in there as well. Wishing you well, Chad.
  2. In some way, its just natures way, of protecting animal species', from going extinct. Animals of a species, will all have different behaviors and sizes, this even happens with plants. This is so some members of that species, just by their behavior ex. ex., will go into different places in their environment. That way the species has a better chance of surviving, because the species will be spread out, and able to live in many different environments. For example, lets just ((imagine)), There was a disease, that only effected people who worked, more than 12 hours a day, (you would be safe.) Or if their was a disease, that would not kill you, if you slept over 9 hours a day, (you would be safe.) Because of the fact your behavior is different than other people, this puts you in a different environment than them. This provides protection for a species. In a way, I am like you, and you should not feel bad about yourself. I would much rather be in your company, than these never stop working people. Being around people like yourself, a person can relax and think. Take really good care of yourself, Chad.
  3. I feel people have the right, to do as they wish (as long as they don't hurt anyone.) But I also believe in equal rights for everyone, regardless of sex, race, or age. These polygamous marriages seem to be only had by men. I do not ever remember seeing a woman, who had (4) husbands. This is not equal rights, it is not right for men to have four wives, and then woman only have one husband. Its not fair. I also believe that this custom of polygamous marriage comes from, unethical men and power hungry men. Is it natural human behavior for a man to have (4) wives, did human men have (4) wives 100,000 years ago? I believe science would say NO. Science would say that we are hunter/gathers, and we wonder around in a group of 8-12. I have never heard of men having (4) wives in a hunter gatherer group. I also believe that polygamous marriage, comes from religion in many countries. And the religious world is full of (many) gullible fools. Like how many of todays (high) living priests that have their own private jets, they do (not) even believe in God themselves, they only became priests so they could get rich. So there will be (many) men, who join certain religious groups, just so they can have (4) wives. My personal view on polygamous marriage is this. I do not want polygamous marriage any were around me, (until the day comes that woman also have (4) husbands, in this custom.) If woman also commonly had (4) husbands, I would have (no) problem with it at all. Until then you can keep that crap away from me.
  4. I sure hope we do. But I sure see were, you are coming from. When you combine all of the following things, it does not look good. (And we don't have good plans, to stop any of these things.) We are over populating this planet, and if everyone on Earth lived like Americans, we would need like 7? more planets, to provide everyone's resources. And China's 1 billion plus people, are starting to live like Americans. We are depleting the oceans fish stocks, (and I heard on PBS the other day, that when these stocks fall, they can get stuck that way.) We are running out of fresh water reserves, that water Americas "bread basket." Global warming temperature changes, will most likely cause sea levels to rise, and flood homes and crop fields. Global warming temperature changes, could cause crop plants to no longer grow, were they do now. Global warming could cause deep ocean currents to stop, and flip this planet upside down. We are over prescribing antibiotics, and making germs that cant be killed. We are destroying the rain forests, (and they remove carbon and stop global warming.) We are letting out chemicals into our ecosystems, that cause birth defects and cancer. ex. ex. ex. But at the same time, new solar power systems, could start providing large amounts, of cheap and clean energy. And new technology like (indoor hydroponics and new fish farming) could fix many of the above problems. And scientists are even making machines, that remove carbon from the air. It seems that the governments, of America and some European countries, are suffering from deficits and debt. And they no longer have the money to pay for social programs. I just hope that (if) and when, many people are no longer taken care of by their governments, these people will form some new government, that actually cares about its people. Here in America there is a political spirit going around that says, "its o.k. if 40,000 Americans die each year, from not having health insurance" and "its not the governments responsibility to feed hungry children." If this spirit spreads, no one will care about any one. And this philosophy of not caring about people, it just cant help our present problems. But I have noticed that many scientists, are starting to speak about, the above list of problems (AND I HOPE THEY DON'T STOP.) Will we fix these problems? I personally think that with (LUCK) we can get past these problems. But I personally think, that (GOOD LUCK), will have to come into play. Take care of yourself, Chad.
  5. Female homo sapiens (humans) came into existence, around 200,000 years ago. And we are all related to a single human female. Science calls her mitochondrial eve. Male Homo sapiens came into existence maybe 142,000 years ago. The first male homo sapiens is called Y-chromosomal Adam. Female Homo sapiens have been around at least 50,000+ years longer than the males.
  6. I am 39 years old and live in New Orleans. When I was your age, I did not have those problems. It seems like maybe, you had some bad luck, like your friends moving away ex.ex. I actually moved to New Mexico when I was around 19. I left because of a girl, I just needed to be far away, to stop thinking about her. (I stayed 9 months there) Then when I was about 23 I moved to Mississippi, for ((kinda)) the same reasons as you. And I stayed there for around 9 months. But both times I got home sick, and came back home. But as I think now, I may have stayed longer, if I had met the right girl. I think maybe your main problem is, that you don't have the right people in your life. And your young and you want to live like young people do. Due to time factors I must keep this short, so I guess this old man is gonna give you some advise. I think you should do a semester or 2 at college. You would get (3) benefits from this. First you get an education, that will make finding jobs easier. Second you will be around lots of people your own age. Third it will easier than moving to a new state. After high school, I went to a college about 1 hour away from my house. I lived in the dorm. I did not get an education there, but I sure as hell had a lot of fun. I would also consider the US Coast Guard. When I was your age, I did not even consider doing things like that. But now that I am older, I wonder what that would have been like, and how I may be different today. But my personal feeling is, you should find a college, somewhat near your house (with a good male/female ratio, a good bar scene, and somewhat large.) And do a semester there living in the dorm. It would be less than six months. And if you don't like college, you can move to another state, or join the US Coast Guard. But most importantly do what (you) want to do. Chad.
