I agree with Darkpassenger. I think that the whole idea of spacetime being curved and proven to curve during solar eclipses is hokum. It proves that light is bent by gravity and nothing more. It is a convoluted explanation for something that is quite simple. Einstein was the only one that I can think of that could get away with mind experiments. Didn't we get away from that during the Rennaisance? String theory is another example of trying to force something to make sense instead of shutting up and just admitting we just don't know at this time what the heck is going on at that level. I've been looking at these things for over 40 years and the logic goes right out the window. Sorry to be so blunt.

was watching tv about Einstein's curved spacetime and the experiments during eclipses. How do we know that spacetime is curved rather then simply light bending because of gravity? I think it's just another way of saying the same thing. Please explain.

The Muller 400 has been around for awhile. It can't fly because it has no wings. Small detail. I've seen versions with tilt rotors, but they always fly on tether and behave badly. I think it's a money pit. I don't see virtual roadways as an impossibility. GPS will play a major role. The big problem is if you need to stay in the air, then you're going to need fuel. You can't fly around with no means of support. These cars look great to the layman, but look closely. The laws of physics aren't forgiving. Even reasonable designs have problems. How do you fly a car with no wings and no rotor?

Have a question. I noticed that all the outlets in one room have no ground. None in the boxes. This was a system that was used way back. I installed a gfci and used a test light which showed an open ground. When i connect a jumper between the ground screw on the gfci and the line neutral the tester reads normal. I have my own thoughts on the safety of this but would like to here some others. Thanks all

Yeh, It's the AM band that is bad. I suspect that these are cheap radios because my truck is an 04 Dakota and my wife's car is an 05 Prius. I think they have third level quality stuff that they throw into these cars. These cars are too loud, have bad sound and rough ride. All could be fixed. Help.

I have a problem with relitive motion. If a light source is moving toward me a some high percent of c, the light will not reach me any sooner than if the light were stationary. The intantanious position of the light is the only thing that matters. Light is bound by a maximum propigation rate that is not determined by v. And if I am the one that is moving, position is still the only determining factor. I don't see how to determine the speed exclusive of position. I know this probably sounds dopey, but how does all this work?

Both my and my wife's car are fairly new. Yet the radios are very bad. In the old days there was some adjustment that could be made called trimming. Does anybody know if there is a procedure for optimizing on todays radios? AM.
