  1. wow. Funny. The guy must be a total jerk and was expected to disrupt the film. Dickie Dawkins can be a total jerk, but he's dignified enough to keep silent during a film, I'm sure. Did anyone find out why the guy wasn't allowed in? Or are you all just guessing based on... knee-jerk reactions and empty heads? Just a lil question.
  2. Glider, Once again, thank you for your thorough answer. I'll be going to a pain clinic soon and will keep your info in mind when I meet with the doctors.
  3. Great answser, Glider, and I appreciate it very much. I went from 600-800mg Tramadol + up to 4000mg paracetamol/day to 30mg Codeine + 500mg paracetamol/day with 100mg Tramadol + 500mg paracetamol at night with no problem. In fact, after a few days, maybe a week, that diffuse pain I mentioned was gone. Just gone. After a year of debilitating diffuse pain, *poof!* gone. I think it has to do with endorphin production and the way the 'keys' of Tramadol and Codeine fit the 'locks' of pain receptors. I'm guessing that switching to another pain killer allowed my own endorphin production to kick back in or perhaps for the endorphins to fit the locks abandoned by the Tramadol. Am I way off the mark? Any more ideas on what might have happened would be appreciated.
  4. Why are standards in schools being lowered? Why is the bar lowered for college entrance exams? Have you seen school books from the colonial period in the US? What grade schoolers read back then, high schoolers would cry over today. We're devolving, dude.
  5. Like the man said, with statistics, you can prove anything, even the opposite. Before citing the stats from various studies, study the studies. Find out what they are really saying. As for the fellow above who said, "As a rule, the more a person has to work for a thing, or the greater the sacrifice a person must make to attain a thing, the more valuable that thing will be to the person," that is impression that refers to, not fact. Just because someone believes in something doesn't make it true - and doesn't make it as effective as they may report.
  6. I've been searching for an answer to share with my doctor and hope someone here has that answer. Is it possible for a long-term use of Tramadol to cause the body to stop producing its own endorphins, resulting in an area near the original pain site to react with 'diffuse' pain after relatively little physical stress?
