You might be knowing the principles behind the working movement of a satellite! After taking it to a particular altitude, its given a trajectory movement that whenever it tries to fall with gravity, it goes into an elliptical path so as to never reach the earth! So how come when i throw a stone upward, it never falls in an angle away from the vertical?, as per the satellite movement does show that elliptical movement does occur! Hi, I have been reading extensive physics of my educational curriculam. I am not good in learning concepts. But i can undertand it. How come theoretical studies taught in physics have a big importance! When it comes to building something, i couldn't even search and mould wood for contructing huge mechanics! The wright brothers for example were private enthusiasts who collected and contructed a thing which could fly in the air! I was thinking if it were possible that a ferrari car dissassembled into bits and pieces. And then it was given to science students for remaking it! Would the science students be successfull? Or would they need theoretical lecture? Some engineering draughtman's guidance? or a mechanic's help? The people or should i say individuals who think of making big machines, who helps them in making the basic bits and pieces first? Or was it the labour camps of england who made screws and bolts? --------------- eric

Blah! It would be impossible for the water to be again introduced into the chamber even if there would have been vacuum created. If it would be then it would be only 30 to 40 percent than it was filled manually before even litting the candle! As i have myself seen the boat itself stops after some time. The diagram also seems wrong the thermostat flap whose one end should be under the flame lit and the other end inserted into the chamber. The heat transmission then boils the water! Might be that the air pressure created due to steam expells the water through the pipes. But i am unsure of water introduction! -------------- eric

I have played with putt boat then. What do you mean by -the steam condenses and water rushes back into the engine ready to be flash boiled!??? When i saw the diagrams there was no mention of such...i mean its just written that the water in the column boils by the candle and is expelled through pipes. Or is it like a chamber inside the boat!? The extra water is kept in the boat structure which gets introduced into the heat chamber when perhaps might be vacuum is created when water is expelled earlier by heat! Then was the water filled up to the brim of the boat! Then how the candle was lighted? Anyway when i had seen it, i thought like that it was moving with hocus-pocus! Hi, Is there any physics theory where heat generated from a source can be made to displace water in metallic pipes when heated from one end to another!???? Like for moving an object like ship by this theory! --------------- eric

Now n' then all the time i was hearing from your side that such thing called 'mind-power' existed. Why were the nazis during their reign trying to make aircrafts shaped like UFOs. Did anyone see a UFO in clear light! No! And still people say that at many places UFOs have fallen!LOL. All has been successfully made was a Hovercraft! I wouldn't just start trying my mental faculties to make objects fly! I was trying to make a Hypothesis! -------------- eric

Hi, I am new in this forums. And i want to say hi. There is a container for making baked cakes that my mom uses. In it the mixture is put into and when baked reverse the container. Can that container like objects can be made to fly with mind power? ------------------ eric
