  1. Thank you dear John for this guidance
  2. Dear john, what will the indication of Conversion of NaHCO3 to Na2CO3 while boiling, i mean PH? Any physical change? or what will be the reaction of Na2CO3, As NaOH reacts with CO2 as follow, NaOH + CO2---------NaHCO3. Could u please guide me by writting reaction in equation form, i am confused becoz of the molecular formula of Na2CO3, which is heavy in C and O atoms, how could it acomodate CO2. Sorry for inconvenience. Thank you my dear for this great idea, i will report you after experience.
  3. Very sorry John, Actually it was posted first in organic forum mistakenly, afterword when i realized i re post it on inorganic forum
  4. Dear Suxamethonium,

I am much much grateful to u for your great idea, i was reluctant to this idea because i was thinking that CO2 is not perhaps absorbed but makes an bond in NaHCO3, which may not be broken by vacuum, thank u again, i ll try it and ll report u soon,

  5. Dear Fellows, If CO2 reacts with soultion of NaOH then we get NaHCO3 solution, Is it possible to exhaust CO2 from NaHCO3 solution by Shaking it or by creating Vacuum on it so it can exhaust absorbed CO2 and we can through it in atmosphere, i am thinking on this logic that if NaOH can absorb CO2 to become NaHCO3 then NaHCO3 can also becomes again NaOH by eliminating absorbed CO2. please guide if it is possible. Please forgive it doesn,t make a sense.

  7. Hello dears, I am working on biogas, what i experienced so fare is following, 1. Darkness, temperature and slow steady mixing of manure with water starts bacterial attack in digester to produce biogas. 2. Biogas contains CO2 and H2S along with CH4 which have not a friendly role for combustion. 3. Caustic soda solution can remove CO2 from Biogas if it passes through it. 4. Iron filling if put in the way of Biogas can interact with H2S. Can anybody guide me to calculate the required quantities of all essential , so i may optimize the project
  8. Hello My dear, Please check the forum separation of CO2 from Bio-gas and see my comments,

  9. Dear Jdurg, U r great, i am succeeded in purifying biogass from CO2 and water vapours , furthermore i have also get rid of H2S by placing iron filling in the way of biogas during purification process. I have a problem yet, How could i identify that NaOH solution needs recharge, Please tell some remedy like physical appearence of solution, Ph of solution or any simple way, Thankful to u.
  10. Dear , Is there any chemical which can activate bacterial action on digester( Contains mixture of Water and manure) and also enhance the production of Biogas from same input. Further more, is there any use of sodium bicarbonate which is the product of biogas purification by passing it through Caustic soda solution. How can i know that Caustic solution is no more to remove further gas so i can recharge the solution of NaOH. I shall be much grateful.
  11. Dear Jdurg, Its great idea with quite convincing logic and reasoning, kindly guide me , 1.What will the physical appearance of NaOH solkution when it all will be converted into NaHCO3. 2. What are other indications? like PH etc. 3. It would definitely Baking soda ( NaHCO3) , is there any suggestion of u to purify that for domestic or commercial use. I shall be much grateful to u if u explain it will by wait ratios of required chemicals. Reagrds
