  1. sound waves are not energy themselves but they carry energy from one point to another.when someone speaks, his vocal cords start vibrating. This causes the air particles near it to vibrate.Air particles keep hitting each other and moving back and forth. The continuous motion of those air particles is what we call "sound wave".moving air particles have kinetic energy in them or you can say sound waves have kinetic energy in them.sound waves lose this kinetic energy in the form of heat as the air particles collide and gradually all the energy is dissipated there is no sound wave left.
  2. Thanks for your help. The site provided a good information about how the polarity of AC changes with respect to time(or rotation of the magnet).
  3. Thanks to everyone those who replied in the thread. The concept of flow of electrons in a conductor,in the case of DC current is CLEAR TO ME TILL SOME EXTENT.I read it in a book and also read some articles on internet.however,i have not totally understood, how does AC flow inside a conductor.could you please explain or provide some LINKS.
  4. Thanks for using the term 'delocalised electrons'. it cleared half my doubt after watching it in wikipedia.
  5. While reading about electric current,i got the information that electrons flow from negative terminal of a battery to positive terminal.it has been mentioned in the book that electrons jump from atom to atom with a very slow speed called drift.we know that metals have a tendency of losing electrons. Then why and how would atoms of metallic wire gain electrons from the negative terminal of battery? And one more question arises that if they drift slowly then why is electricity so fast?
  6. dear urain, first of all i want to say that my exams are going on,so i will not be active on this forum till 28th or 30th.i saw ur conversation so i am replying you. You are saying that movement of any existence occurs by displacing another low level density existence..And in your opinion space is also an existence, that means when i move my hand,i displace some space.you have also said somewhere that space is massless matter.so can i take a vacuum pump and pull out space from a glass jar.i am being confused over the point.
  7. ok,when getting time i would discuss and try to understand it thoroughly with help of someone.thanks for reply.
  8. Namaste urain,I read your papers and i am impressed by your work but i have some doubts too.first,i would like to tell you i am only 15 years old am in 9th standard so i may not understand your all concepts clearly.please correct me.your first rival argument was 1.space is empty,it may only be filled.when its filled it will not allow other matter to occupy the space.if i amend it and say like this "space is empty,it may only be filled, when it is filled it will allow another matter to occupy the same space only if the matter which is existing previously is removed.". U have also wrote that matter is less denser moveable space.then we can compress space into liquid solid or gas and we can decompress atoms into space, please think upon it
  9. IR emitted by remote controls are too weak to have any harmful effect.but as i have read bluetooth makes use of weak radio waves, and its often thought that it may be harmful.many experiments have been conducted to determine its effects on animals.so i would say remote control which uses infrared is better.HOWEVER,bluetooth doesnt require a line of sight as infrared.
  10. hello the second post [math]x^2+4/2[/math] worked
  11. Its impossible but if a bridge which is so long and it is not curved, the bridge would be out of earth's surface and it would take you to the more and more height from the earth.if you keep travelling on it you would be out of earth's gravity.
