I totally accept that their are other fields of engineering which are highly multidisciplinary and that this adds complexity and difficulty to them, my point is just that I believe that robotics is one of them.

In my opinion it would have to be amongst the hardest fields in engineering simply because it requires the perfect integration of software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, control engineering and systems design engineering. (ie mechatronics)
