I am a rising junior in high school. I aced Honors Chem last year, and I'm taking AP chem this year. Would it be possible for me to do some organic chemistry self-study? I would love to, but I'm not sure if a year of high school chemistry is good enough of a foundation for OC.
Thanks,
Joe

I absolutely love the Khan Academy. I use it whenever I can, and I love watching Sal's videos. On the website, there is a fairly extensive collection of math problems, starting with basic addition and continuing on from there. Are there any websites where I can find a bunch of practice problems for the sciences? I'm just looking for Biology, Chemistry, and some Physics problems.
Thanks,
Joe

Hey all! I am a 16 year old military brat. I am a rising junior in high school. I have always had a deep love for math and science, and I hope to pursue it further on this forum. I am a volunteer in the morgue and autopsy suites in a hospital. I want to one day get a medical degree and be a doctor. Music is a huge part of my life. I love rock, metal, classical, jazz, and any genre that ends in "core". I also am a member of orchestra, symphonic band, concert band, and marching band. I play violin, tuba, and am learning percussion. I am in JROTC, and a member of my school's rifle team. I want to practice medicine in the U.S Navy. That's pretty much it, I look forward to learning from you all.

Thank you for the input everyone. I think I'll just focus on Chem basics for the next year. I'll give OC a go next summer, depending on how AP Chem goes.
