Hey guys, I'm currently in a Physiology class and we were asked to critically think about why our body has a convoluted system for creating urine. The fluid goes through multiple stages to concentrate and unconcentrate before it becomes urine. Why is it that our body doesn't have a direct system from A to B? Does it have to do something with the ions or energy conservation? Appreciate your help. Thanks
