Here are a few: -Human tapeworms can grow up to 22.9m. -When a flea jumps, the rate of acceleration is 20 times that of the space shuttle during launch. -Giraffes often sleep for only 20 minutes in any 24 hours. They may sleep up to 2 hours (in spurts – not all at once), but this is rare. They never lie down. -There are 60,000 miles of blood vessels in the human body.
  2. A lot of places when you start to work at will teach you what or how they want you to do the different things. Just remember that the basic scientific method still applies, but they may have things done on a larger scale. Good luck on your job!
  3. I think that it is very important to have the figures or even experiment checked and rechecked. I can't even tell you how many times I have been in the lab and see someone do something that could possibly alter the results of the experiment. I wonder how many times the results on really important experiments have been changed due to carelessness.
