  1. Thanks, I should have perhaps been more accurate - I was talking about a shell of event horizons with the singularities not touching each other. Presumably, the outside universe would see just a big event horizon? How would this Physics work do you think? From the inside of the shell there is complete disconnection from the universe. From the outside of the shell it appears that lots of new matter has arrived from nowhere. I Know it is unstable but think about the instant when it is still a shell.
  2. Ok here is a weird thought experiment (or an extremely expensive real experiment!) If you fired a set of small black holes towards a location such that at one point they from a thin spherical shell of black holes what happens to: 1. The space inside the shell? - it is completely isolated from the universe but is not within the event horizon of a black hole. Thus it could contain a recording device.* 2. When the shell is formed it is exactly the same as a larger 'solid' black hole when viewed from the outside so would it have gravity grater than the sum of the material making up the shell? *I know the black holes would smash into a recording device but I think this could be avoided if the shell was a cube so the black holes don't continue towards the centre.
  3. Thanks for the input. Any ideas about how to hallucinate more pleasant faces? I can only get devils!
  4. Hi, I've come across a way of inducing hallucinations of mythical/demonic beings which I am interested in from a psychological perspective. I have made a corny video with instructions on how to do it: I'm interested in sparking some debate about why the effect is so extreme - I have narrowed it down to a four stage process: 1. The optical illusion caused by fading visual input: Check this out it is also cool http://en.wikipedia....xler%27s_fading 2. With the lack of visual input the facial processing components of the brain override perception allowing the distortion of facial features in the image 3. Pulling an evil face causes the facial perception distortion to view a demonic face - Theoretically enhanced by the fear centre of the brain (the Amygdala). 4. The fact you are looking at a reflection of yourself means that you are aware of the consciousness of the reflection in the same way that you are aware of your own consciousness. You are also aware that your own face is not demonic so you experience a deep sense of evil 'otherness' which has a conscious link to you. I wondered if the effect was as strong for other people and if you agree with the stages I have identified. Let me know what you think please.
  5. I have developed a way to reliably hallucinate without drugs. You should be able to hallucinate strange faces and experience a strong evil presence. I have made a video which describes the technique: Hope this is of interest to some of you, my freinds found it cool.
