looking for advice. Im interested in physics and looking to study this subject through college and onto university in the UK. My question is what would be the best route, what could this lead to and what could be the duration of the courses. I would like go onto quantum mechanics.

thank you for the response. appreciated. just to gain bit more understanding. a plain taking of from the ground and setting of for a location is that plain suspended in away until the earth has rotated underneath it and the correct location arrives and the plain lands or is it when the plain is stationary on the ground is travelling at the same speed of the rotation of the earth but when taking of is travelling at the speed of the earth plus it velocity therefore being able to travel quicker then the rotation.

dont rely have a great understanding of the topic... one of the things that are discrediting the big bang theory is dark energy which as far as i know has not been detected.... were it shows that there is not enough gravity in the universe for their to be organised structures in galaxies and the univers so this dark matter acts as an extra amount of gravity that keeps order... but if all objects have no fixed positions and can be in more than one place at one time on an atomic level would this amplify the affect of normal gravity. could any one fill me in abit more.
