  1. An alphabet with two letters, though able to produce an infinite number of words, would take a great deal longer to interpret all the information. Our brains only have so much processing power. So time and ability to interpret information for understanding are factors. Asian languages have 5000+ characters and multiple meanings for each word we have. This allows them to produce a more defined understanding of any situation or circumstance, including scientific study... smaller, lighter blocks to build an understanding with. ID isn't beyond our comprehension, but when we're fed only so much information on a subject, it will take much longer to find the answers... especially if the education system filters what we are told.. I mean educated with. Chemists and biologists continually hit a road block in their ability to explain how we've come to be if they are not allowed to implicate the possibility of ID. Their names are constantly lynched and slandered by those in power who have some preconceived religious or personal belief. The first proteins that make up life could not have come to be without stored sequencing instruction. Without DNA there is no self replication. Without self replication, there is no natural selection. So we can't use natural selection to explain the origin of DNA without assuming the existence of the very thing we are trying to explain. A,T & C,G. So what is DNA?
  2. And the peasants get on their knees to kiss the hand of he who enslaves them.
  3. Categorize as much as you want, but buildings do not fall straight down on themselves, none the less 3 of them. Firefighters there were filmed saying they heard the defined rapid explosions that brought down the towers. They were befuddled by this. I bet you never saw this in the news. And the masses are likely to believe a big lie than a small one. Because you don't want to believe something so horrific could be true enables you to deny it as a possibility. I say to the non-believers... find the interviews and film blocked from being played on the media, and e-mail some demolition experts.
  4. Schizophrenia : a psychotic disorder characterized by loss of contact with the environment, by noticeable deterioration in the level of functioning in everyday life, and by disintegration of personality expressed as disorder of feeling, thought (as in hallucinations and delusions), and conduct. There is a definite correlation between schizophrenia and cocaine use. Which leads to which is unknown. But a great deal of the pot out there is laced with cocaine without the user ever knowing it. Never seen an angry pothead, but seen drunk or coked up people do some real nasty stuff. Where is the media campaign against that? Cocaine is the likely culprit and marijuana is the scapegoat for the war on peace. Categorize a person who falls out of agreement with general consensus and label him psychotic. Many scientists and philosophers ahead of the "knowledge curve" throughout history can undoubtedly be thrown into this category based on others' black and white introspective perception, and not on fact. The general consensus of what everyday life should be, from a spiritual perspective, is quite a ridiculous lifestyle. Those who contemplate very deeply on topics of life, humanity and political control, such as pot smokers, may rightfully start disassociating themselves from their environment... creating a logic structure that is different than the rest whom are playing 'follow the leader.'
  5. Now I find it very hard to believe that the twin towers and WTC 7 happen to fall down precisely vertically when so many planned building implosions fail to collapse this conveniently. What are the statistical odds? Any mathematicians or structural engineers have the answer? If a tall building's metal structure is heated up from jet fuel, the top will bend before it falls at an angle. It will not fall straight down. What do you physics buffs think? And where did the airplane which hit the pentagon go? Are there any magicians reading this thread? The attack on the twin towers sparked the whole "war on terror." Our military went into Afghanistan, then gave up after a couple months. Bush even said that he was not concerned with BinLaden's whereabouts. But we then pursue oil-rich Iraq on the false pretense of weapons of mass destruction. We capture Sadam, then his defense attorneys keep getting assassinated. What's going on here? Bin: a box, frame, crib, or enclosed place used for storage Laden: to put a load or burden on or in BinLaden: an enclosed place to put a load or burden on What book was Bush reading at the time of the second tower attack? My Pet... Scapegoat. Is anyone else getting the message?
  6. Hmmmm, is facism real? The elite leveraging their "good 'ole boy's" network to use the nation's finances for personal control? Noooooo, not in America
  7. I'd love to get into the specifics of this debate, but hasn't everyone realized by now that Bush is a puppet, and disinformation is spoken from those moving his strings? There is a much higher order at work and we discuss what he said and she said. My favorite quote from Bush is "Fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Ya fool me you can't get fooled again." Or can we? The "attack" on the twin towers sparked the whole war excuse. Afghani "terrorists" attack us, then we attack oil-rich Iraq and blame Sadam. Once captured, his defense attorneys keep getting assasinated... Come on. It's all a setup... disinformation... all of it. BTW, what are the odds that two buildings hit by airplanes fall down directly on top of themselves, then another that was not hit by an airplane nearby falls down exactly the same way. I've seen planned implosions fall down less conveniently than that. And where did the airplane go that hit the pentagon? Can we say, "setup." Now who's the real terrorists? Who's getting fooled again and again? Bin: a box, frame, crib, or enclosed place used for storage Laden: to put a load or burden on or in BinLaden: an enclosed place to put a load or burden on What book was he reading at the time of the second tower attack? My Pet... Scapegoat Get the message? Rome II is on the rampage!
  8. The only time GE foods will be used to feed the poor is if we're experimenting on them. What is the point of feeding the poor people of third world nations when we can let them starve and make it easier to take their land?
  9. Private technology in regards to energy demands already provides a solution. Private technology is always many years ahead of what the public is aware of. The reason for oil is control of a nation's people's finances. So I say we should be pro-active and destroy the power-hungry elitists who control oil and war and harness the many forms of safe "free" energy.
  10. Alcoholism is classified as a disease just as fat is now. We're products of psychological conditioning which alters the chemistry of our brains and neuro-networks. The key lies in de-conditioning. Discovering the deeper reasons for grabbing the bottle in the first place. Understanding why, and coming to terms with that is important not just for quitting, but in staying away from it. Hypnotherapy by a very experienced professional (important!) is a great way. I equate neuro-transmiter manipulation equivalent to hooking up jumpercables to your nipples every time you want to drink. BTW electro shock therapy has been re-entered into "western medicine" as a form of treatment. Please take caution in "modern medicine."
  11. Words and phrases build concepts to stem further thought. Why let our preconceptions of a person with a certain degree or age hinder the purpose of communication? If we're trying to get a specific debate, write the first post with some basic guidelines of education and experience. There are plenty of people out here with more intelligent ideas than those with degrees. Text books spew out the same age-old ideas while many who have not been formally educated have the ability innovate our minds with free thought. An individual with less objective observation of people, society and scientific concept will often bring to light greater concepts than somebody playing "follow the leader" by reading all the same text books.
  12. A mind wired to a language with 26 letters is too feeble to comprehend the complexities involved in ID at this point in time.
  13. Very good advice LoJong. Bettina, I'm glad you started this blog, it's nice to know there are others out there. You sound like a very kindred soul with more care than most we see from day to day. It isn't an easy life, but it can be a very powerful one with respects to spreading goodness. Have you ever thought that you may be very correct in feeling what you are feeling?... a "pure observer" so to say? "Western" medicine, tends to put things such as "anxiety" and "depression" into groups and leave it at that. "That's just the way things are" without any holistic explanation. This is, of course, far from reality with respects to the full spectrum of human emotion and response. It is possible that everyone in this society supresses these very same feelings (on an unconscious level) and find another way into comfort zones. Regardless of what anyone says, this world is incredibly ugly, corrupt, and evil. Control over our personal perception is even a multi-billion dollar business in America (marketing and public relations). I believe that a very fortunate few have the ability to see things for how they truely are without accepting the larger group's beliefs. We are a product of our genetics and environment over time. The only key to growth under strong empathetic circumstance is gaining a greater understanding of the micro and macro environment of our lives, then discovering the path through it. Your purpose will emerge through this adventure. Please don't find a way to supress this gift too much. Do you have any relatives (such as grandparents) in your blood line who were deeply involved in the mind such as psychiatry or relatives deeply involved in caring for others?
  14. I've payed close attention to "depression" and it's causes and effects. I've been in it for so long, i'm numb now. Doctors, even psychiatrists, will largely treat symptoms and ignore causes. Some questions to analyze are; What are the circumstances of her family life, what serious things have happened to her when she was younger that she may be surpressing (often from family members), how have people treated her through the years of school, how much real food does she have a history of eating as opposed to fast food and boxed food (synthetic chemicals alter brain chemistry), what is the relationship between her parents like, how do they treat her... esentially what aspects of her daily environment have been out of sync with how she feels things should be? The media is a very powerful medium today. Pardon my language, but it seriously ****s with the mind of girls... to a very deep extent. It creates a perceived prison of ideals which are assinine and only abuses them for marketing purposes. How does she feel about her body and her ideals relative to the media and other girls around her? A strong-willed person can't be forced into being happy about an environment they are unhappy with. Only an understanding of it can be attained. The greater understanding of the environment, the greater a person is enabled to get out of "depression." But then again, some people just see things for what they really are and will not creat a false reality.
