with a flexographic press we apply naoh + water to the metallized (aluminum) side of the polyester film this is done with a rubber roller then the material goes to a washing bin and then drying before rewinding the material on a roller. i want to find a method were I can avoid the washing. my idea is to apply the naoh + water and on the next station something else that will do two things; neutralize the reaction and keep that area of the film transparent so we do not see after drying any salts making this window hazy. the last step is that on the metallized side of the film we laminate another film to it. Does the demetallized side ends up protected and it is not exposed. thanks for any help that you can give to me. best regards, dan
