  1. I assume tomgwyther is talking about a motion of an object that is (almost entirely) uninfluenced by any other force. For example, a moon that is spinning around an heavy object, like the earth.
  2. I just registered to this forum to get some information from people with knowledge of Special Relativity, Quantum Mechanics and Math. I've been really interested in the subjects described here (Relativity, Quantum mechanics and more advanced math). So far I've done the following at my school: Newton's laws and describing motions, basic electricity and magnetic stuff, differentiating, integrating and geometric formula's (sine, cosine functions). Does somebody have any URLs of websites or names of books that describe any of the described subjects from the level of education I'm currently at. The teachers at my school are unwilling to give me any information about these subjects (or they do not have anymore information, same result) so I thought: why not start looking for information myself! Thanks in advance!
