1. just because you something reacts quicker doesnt mean that its smarter.
2. any body got any ideas on how to make electrical wires superconductive and keep them that way? I was thinking that there would be a sleeve of liquid nitrogen around the electrical wires, with an energy absorbing system that used the thermal heat in the air around the wires to keep and produce more liquid nitrogen. any one got some krazy ideas? ( i know i spell crazy wrong)
3. xyph: i kinda thought about it and it does appear that i would have to suck large amounts of air to make this possible
4. dear meson: what i'm trying to say is that you gotta think backwards a little.... just think of a jet engine working backwards, or a car engine working backwards. I know it seems to not make sense but it is imaniginable, after all people back in the dark ages probabally thought that man was never going to fly.... and they were correct werent they?
5. i was thinking of an engine that would use the heat energy of the air itself and have the by products make what we would now call " fuel " like gasoline. i believe that some how we could make and engine that sucked air instead of pushed air. but the problem arises: how do i compress it and extract the heat? maybe some infra red photo voltaic cells or something else that i havnt thought of yet. p.s.: swansont, light pushes and pulls correct?
6. is this engine possible to be made? and if its theoretical then has carnot himself tried to produce such and engine, and does any body have any ideas on being able to make energy out of nothing?
7. do excess velocities change the equation. like lets say the bullet travels 5 miles a second. the earth curves at 8 in at a mile away. so if you travel a mile in any given direction you'll be 8 inches lower than at your original point. Right?
8. the funny thing is.... is that no one said we had to be on earth to hit the target.... we could be in space and these calculations would'nt quite work well...... uhhh at least i think so....
9. what type of engine is the most efficient?
10. actually what i think the correct answer is 24.5 frames per second....... lol
11. can i ask y we can only hav hole numbers?
12. ya know.... it's really hard to think of reverse mechanics..... just try to imagine a jet engine working in reverse or a meteor being pushed into space instead of being sucked into the earths atmosphere...... COLOR="Red"]are reverse mechanics possible?
13. hello...... yes time is light polar.... i think
14. can we get numbers like 108.25? or do then not count because they're not whole numbers?
15. Me and my dad came up with this interesting statement. Light is time polar. in other words time has two poles, positive time and negative time..... remember how light pushes a little on objects? light also pulls, but it looks diffenently if you think backwards(literally) would anyone please tell me what could be improved on this?
16. out of curiosity do u guys use scratch paper to do these and use trial and error?
17. isn't multiplying them all together kinda defeet the purpose of tryin really really really really really frikin hard to get the right answer right after another consecutively getting larger by 1 each time?
18. no one's getting hurt so whats the problem? if the mother decides later in her life that she regrets it then she suffers. the fetus doesn't suffer because there was no consiousness (at least to my knowledge). Besides why doesn't the fetus say: "hey I don't want to get aborted."
19. I've got an idea about jet propulsion from ionic propulsion, which doesn't require chemical fuels. Only electricity and some metal plates. (this idea comes from the ionic breeze) I know that some people are trying to do this and I want to do it too. basically it works like this: 1.air is ionized 2.air is accelerated through the metal plates(which are electrically charged) 3.air exits the engine and propells the engine forward. the only problems that i have seen with this type of propulsion is that it doesnt produce much thrust. only about 2lbs thrust with and engine that has about 1.5 square meters of surface area for the air to become ionized and push on the engine. (for more info. check http://www.ionicbreeze.com or go to http://www.sharperimage.com)
20. 60 cycles a second is pretty fast considering we can't move our hand or body that fast in a vibrating motion, so i would have to say that to get sliced and diced is only going to happen if you run into the door at full sprint. but in you just slowly stick you hand into it you'd get little pieces of youself cut off untill you pulled you hand, head, leg, or whatever away.
21. why use scrap metal(which can still be quite usefull and recycled) when you could fill them with dirt? I mean, concrete costs money so why not fill em with dirt and maybe some water, or maybe just rocks with mud?
22. I think that it's the oxygen density that matters. liquid oxidizers are only easier to transport(flow through tubes, etc.) or at least thats what i think. but i also have played with salt peter with a glowing red hot piece of charcoal and i can personally tell you that solid oxidizers do work pretty friggin good with the exception that it has to melt first.
