That's what I'm trying to do. I'm interested in genetics and molecular biology, I find the subject fascinating. This is a legitimate question and I have been arguing with a.i. about it. I wanted l some input from someone adept in this subject matter and not from an ethically constrained imperfect construct.. This is a hypothetical question, if you can't think outside of the box, perhaps YOU are one of them? I read about some of the efforts, and there seems to have been a bit of research done in other countries. I'm not suggesting this be done, I am merely seeking to know if creating such a chimera is or was within the realm of possibility.

I understand that attempts to make a humanzee have failed because of the two chromosome difference. However, people with Down Syndrome have 47 chromosomes. Would it not be possible to use one of them to make a humanzee?
