Thanks for the help. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedHi. I contacted my web host and they told me that I need a linux version of dvipng as the server is linux based and can't run executibles.

I am using a normal webhost - Im not sure what type it is. vBulletin works, it allows myswl and php aswell as javascript.

Ive downloaded two files from: http://www.tug.org/protext/ Ive also got both: dvipng-1.9.tar dvipng-1.9.tar.gz.sig The site says that I need dvipng installed which I dont know how to do.

I would like to know how to do this. I have the following link ... http://xyloid.org/projects/vblatex/ ... but the steps are described briefly and a bit vague. I would be very thankful if someone helped me out with this. Thanks
