Hello, I would like to introduce myself and ask where I would best fit on the website. My areas of interest are specifically acoustics/music, as well as general engineering. (The reason for General as opposed to the traditional Mechanical vs Civil vs Electrical vs Etc. is that I think specializing is overspecializing; I don't need to be an expert in every field, I just don't want to be dumb enough to be, say, a chemical engineer that can't figure out the reason their "wonder fluid" cannot possibly exist is because its viscosity would essentially make it a solid, resulting in some sort of mechanical force being exerted within the production machine, causing it to break itself; or to be a civil engineer that designed a building where the construction equipment physically cannot move the pieces necessary into position because they would all interfere with themselves; or etc.) P.S. - I don't know which part of the website is best for introductions, so I figured I'd stick this in the Engineering section.
