  1. Oh wise one, since you speak for everybody, let me tell you and yours, everybody thinks you speak for nobody. This is a digression from the OP. Humans are humans, apes are apes. But since you refuse to accept this I suggest you mate with a female ape and the offspring will end this debate once and for all. agree? (:- I do not belong here, you know it, I know it so away I go enjoy (:-
  2. I though this discussion was about evolution along the lines of Darwinism. “Darwinism is a theory of biological evolution developed by the English naturalist Charles Darwin and others, stating that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce. Personally, I do not believe humans evolved from apes and finding some microbe does not prove otherwise.
  3. Recent evidence suggests that humans may have left Africa half a million years earlier than previously thought. A joint Franco-Indian team has found human artefacts in the Siwalk Hills north of New Delhi dating back at least 2.6 million years. This is earlier than the previous earliest finding of genus Homo at Dmanisi, in Georgia, dating to 1.85 million years. Although controversial, tools found at a Chinese cave strengthen the case that humans used tools as far back as 2.48 million years ago.[64] This suggests that the Asian "Chopper" tool tradition, found in Java and northern China may have left Africa before the appearance of the Acheulian hand axe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_evolution
  4. The main point in that article is posted below. “The discovery of this new fossil suggests to us that the evolution of multicellular animals had occurred at least one billion years ago and that early events prior to the evolution of animals may have occurred in freshwater like lakes rather than the ocean.” This finding does not in any way bridge the gap between monkeys and humans.
  5. There is a better way. I propose that the United Nations collectively ask all nuclear countries to combine all the atomic bombs in the worlds inventory and through the United Nations convert these nuclear bombs into electric generation wherever possible. Or so it seems to me (:-
  6. I respectfully disagree I’m not sure what you two are debating. Matter can not be created nor destroyed. It only takes one form or another. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks, in advance
  7. I agree humans have had and still have an impact on the earth’s climate. But in the long run our involvement is short lived. Fossil fuels are finite. Either we consume it all or leave some in the ground it amounts to a phase that will pass, and our planet will recover; with or without us.
  8. Hijack from What If the Earth needed Global Warming in its Atmosphere. I personally believe climate change is inevitable. Three times in earths past half of our planet was covered in ice. We just happen to be in the defrost stage. The trick is adapting to whatever lays ahead of us. As I see it
  9. My guess is some form of alcohol soluble in water,
  10. Moral principle has been with us since before the written word. One of the basic principle's is do not steal. It is the basic principle written in every religious text, historical accounts, Broadway plays and even in every sitcom from the first run to the Last “Growing Pains“ “Seinfeld” “Cheers” “Simpsons” “Wagon Train (1957–1965)” “Little House on the Prairie (1974–1983)” Above is just a sample that didn’t include great sonnets & poems by Shakespeare and other great righters of old. Morality in the theme of them all. As I see it
