  1. We are not continuing the trial, oh fair one. We are simply Scientifically debating (as this site is named) the fairness of the outcome of the trial that has already taken place. atinymonkey, i wonder why it is that whatever i type, in whatever topic i type it in, you always dispute my opinion. Do you find it fun to do so?

  2. I don't think he is guilty. I have looked into the facts, like that the family has filed many lawsuits, and frankly, as creepy as Michael is, I just can't imagine him doing this. He is so childish. Can you imagine a sane, healthy five year old boy commiting such a crime? No. Michael is not a sane thirty or fourty something man. He is a five year old. A five year old with access to drugs and magazines, but nonetheless, a five year old.

  3. my suggestion is that if the one that diagnosed you as having OCD in the 1`st place is worth his salt' date=' he`ll also have reccomended a course of action in the same breath (so to speak).

Being "Scared" of it isn`t particularly usefull to you when you consider that it`s hardly fatal and many MANY people get along with it and learn coping mechanisms very succesfully :)

take it step at a time and don`t DOOM yourself before you get all the data, honestly, I can appreciate your concern, but leave it at concern only :)[/quote']

I have other things besides OCD. I have episodes, where I literally go crazy. I feel like I have a nervous breakdown. I scream for hours, lying on my floor. I run away, I can't control it. I am scared of all of this as a whole.

  4. And in order for a magnent to work, the device, or ship, opposing the earth's force would have to be as large as the earth, with a magnent with at least half the strength. good luck finding a magnent like that, cuz if you do, chances are, there would be many things that would cling to that giant magnent.

  5. it's a possibility that your unconscious reaction to fear is to generate OCD symptoms' date=' and your fear of developing major OCD symptoms is actually starting to cause them to exist.

Howard Hughes has a major form of the disorder, which is somewhat rare to find. you shouldn't be afraid of becoming completely socially inept from your own OCD. even if it gets to that point, there are things you can do to make socializing easier, without requiring Howard Hughes' money.[/quote']

My form is actually quite severe. I have many many symtoms, and some of them occur very often.

  6. I saw on the aviator about that guy, Howard Hughes, who has that disease. I can relate to it. I have actually been diagnosed with OCD. I am scared. The OCD started when I was seven and got progressively worse. I am scared that I will turn out like Howard Hughes. I am so scared. I don't want it to happen. Not to me. I can't handle the idea. I have the common symtoms, with the exception of the germaphobia. I don't know how to cope. Any suggestions??? Plz?

  7. I know what a nervous breakdown is. I have had several. I'm only thirteen, and I'm already screwed up. I am seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist and being diagnosed with several things, none of which I am too pleased with. If you want to know what a nervous breakdown is, send me a private message.

  8. I would support the idea on the grounds that maybe it would be possible to stop children from developing alzheimer's (don't know the spelling) or shcitzophrenia (also don't know the spelling) or cancer. But as far as making their eyes blue and hair pink, that's just stupid. Mothers should experience the miracle of life. Part of that is seeing your baby for the first time and realizing, "Wow! This baby is part me, and part my signifigant other!" Making the baby bright purple and such would destroy that. That is not the baby's genetics, and therefore, cannot really be considered your child.

  9. Okay, think about it. Atoms cannot really be spherical, can they? I mean, what, after all, is a curved line, but a series of straight lines. You cannot create a curved line without first creating a square. So atoms either are squares, or made up of squares. I'm going to go with that they are made up of squares. So, what are these squares that create the atom? Take away a square and what happens? I don't know, I've just been thinking about that...

  10. Yes. The answer is infinity. That's like if you had infinite muffins and you said, "Let me give each of these people here the same amount of muffins." There would never be an end to the amount of muffins you would get, so it would be infinite. Infinity divided by anything is infinity. :)
