  1. We did an experiment in Lab with a Pascal Timer and a Free Fall device with one small sphere and one larger. I was wondering how mass could influence the results calculated using the accepted value of Earths acceleration in our area. Would the mass of the spheres affect the acceleration? I know that all of this has to do with Newton's second law. I just need help understanding this.
  2. i found the components. ax=13m/s and ay=7.5m/s but i didnt care for the x. The viy is 7.5 and the vfy is 0 then i subbed into the equation. vfy^2-7.5^2=2(-9.8)changeinY -56.25=-19.6changeinY I divided on both sides and got 42.87m The next part of the equation is asking for the final vleocity before it hit the water. I'm not sure how to do that.

The acceleration for the x-direction is 0m/s^2 while its -9.8m/s^2 due to earth gravitational acceleration. Vfy at max height is 0. Known: Vfx and Vfy= 20m/s Θ=50° Vfy=0m/s ax=0m/s^2 ay=-9.8m/s^2 T=? Δy=? Δx=? I'm assuming that the question is asking for max height as Δy in the y-direction. I was trying to solve for time in order to use the equation to solve for Δy but I can't see how to do that. I'm not sure if there is another way that I could do this or if I just labeled things incorrectly.

  5. I have no clue. It's making me frustrated. I know that the times for both trips minus the break arent known. and the rabbit goes twice as fast the first avg speed.

Finishing the course in a total time of 1.75h, the rabbit wins the race.A) Calculate the average speed of the Rabbit. ~I knew how to find the avg speed by dividing 4.00km and 1.75h. i got 2.28km/hB) What was his average speed before he stopped for a nap? Assume no detours or doubling back. ~I converted the break of 90min to 1.5h. and i know that more than one step is required to answer this. I just don't know where to start.The question is asking to find the answers in km/h
