  1. Hello, everyone! I’m preparing for Olympiad and found a task which seems not trivial to me and I can’t find any clues right now to solve it. So, here it is: The reagent is a spherical anion with r=0,25nm. Its reduction is taking place on a dropping mercury electrode in methanol with surface non-active 1,1-electrolyte (concentration is 0,014M), temperature is 20*C. Velocity of mercury dropping is 1.5 mg/s, dropping period is 5 seconds. Intraspheric energy of anion reorganization is 1,2 eV. Equilibrium reaction potential is +0,76eV. Transmission coefficient by localization on inner Helmholtz plane - 0,001. Thickness of reactionary layer is 0,1 nm, effective frequency of solvent is 10^13 s^(-1). Diffusion coefficient is 10^(-5) cm^2/s^2. In which range of potentials the control of reaction is diffusive, and in which - kinetic? Any clues or ideas would be very appreciated!
