I just find it very strange that we can measure relativity through atomic clocks and then people automatically assume that we'd age differently because of speed just because the clocks move differently when they speed. I just can't make that mental jump. It makes no sense to me that ageing must be dependent upon a clock, or that just because a clock slows under certain conditions that the ageing process would slow too.

Hey, I can't seem to post anything new on the thread I started...I guess there's some posting restrictions on new members.
Anyhow, what is it about clock rate that would make people age differently? Couldn't aging be independent of clock rate? I'm sure there's no proof that age follows clock rate. A clock is just a measuring device.
So, just because relativity can be measured by a clock has little to do with aging, as far as I can tell.
