  1. Hello all, I have a question in Neurobiology that I am very confused about. So, If a toxin binds the voltage-gated potassium channels on nerve cell membranes, keeping them permanently open. It is suspected that the toxin is taken in to the nerve cell by receptor mediated endocytosis and then blocks the channel from closing. What would be the result at the cellular level if the toxin was exposed to the toxin. What would a normal action potential look like and what would am action potential of the neuron exposed to the toxin look like?
