  1. The 'psychological'/qualitative effects have long been studied, and a lot of work is now being done on quantitative (measurable) effects. Eg. a physiotherapist I know about in South Africa did a Ph.D on the effect of music on immunology, and found that patients exposed to certain types of music had significantly higher immune 'mechanisms' available (measured by blood tests in a pathology lab) than control groups.
  2. The classification of brainwaves seem mixed up as the greek letters don't seem to progress with the frequency, or do i miss something? Beta is highest, then alpha, then theta etc. Why is this? Thanks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainwaves
