  1. Hello everyone, I am studying for a final, and I am trying to figure out how Wobble hypothesis can help us determine how many tRNAs are needed for each amino acid. I understand the hypothesis, but what I have difficulty is to determine what is the minimum amount of tRNAs needed for each amino acid and what is the maximum. For example, if serine has the codons: UCU UCC UCA UCG AGU AGC Then, there has to be two minimum tRNAs, just by looking at the first two nucleotides of the bases. However, our teacher said that there are maximum tRNAs possible as well, if you include that fact that there are some perfect anticodons, and others not as well (ex. the anticodon containing the I isn't a good match with the nucleotide U or C, but it works) Please help me and tell me how you get the answer Thanks!!!
