  1. I am flexing my Table Tennis Muscles
  2. Hi, I am in AP Bio right now and have taken 6 Ap's all together thoughout high school. They arent that bad, its just a lot of montonous work. Atleast thats my take on it. Most schools will give you credit if you get a 4 or 5. If I were you I would try really hard to do good on the exams because the class offered in high school is a lot easier than the one in college. Its more structured and spoon fed. So it will be to your advantage to try as hard as you can to ace the exam.
  3. OK, first of all lets not do any bashing on this forum. Its a clean learning disucssing environment and lets keep it that way. I understand the need to vent, but keep it somewhat professional. With that said, my personal stance is that this is NOT the governments decision to make, I do think that people should be able to decide whether to have a baby or not. Also like some have mentioned rape and sexual assult sometimes cause the onset of pregnancy that was not willful. Also, this may seem unethical and cruel, but the fact of the matter is that sometimes its better to abort because 1, if you look at the sociaeconomic statistics of who gets abortions and who gets pregnant unintentionally, most of these people are of the lower class and if they are not ready to raise a child, the child will most likely become some nusience to society. (Criminal, Homeless etc). Obviously this isnt the case for every child but overall there is a general pattern, so I feel abortion is a better choice in that respect. Also abortion is not the same as murdering a child. First of all when its at its embryotic level of development, there is no certainty that it will even survive. Second a lot of potential abortion cases involve subjects who use drugs and alchol, thus birth defects are possible, and third killing a baby is mudering something already in existance that has pain and sensation, at the embryotic stage, its nieve to call it life in my opinion.
  4. Thats funny, Blike is my neighboor and all he does is play table tennis(which he sucks at) hangout with his girl and eat food. I guess we know who is getting into med school
  5. well as an acura owner myself (as you know blike) Acura is made by honda and Acura is only a divison here in America. In europe and asia all the acura lines are called hondas so im guessing he is in a University out of state.
  6. Faf, if you ever want me to show you how to play pool just whisper INdiazrsx and ill show you the physics. You wont EVER beat me.
  7. hey you #% this is SCIENCE FORUMS, GO TALK POLITICS SOMEWHERE ELSE
  8. that is what this whole thread is about. TELEPORTING and what it is. and my whole arguement is that TELEPORTING AND REPLICATING ARE NOT THE SAME THING. how can you be so dense
  9. ok, but what im saying is that all though in theory it might be easier to travel forward, in practicallity, only reverse makes sense. Do you guys see what i mean??
  10. ok let me lay it out like this. Lets say i cut off my hand it place it on a desk 10 feet away. Thats transferring. Lets say i cut off my hand throw it in the trash and recreate one and put it on the desk 10 feet away, thats replicating. Even if there is not one iota of a difference in the make up, and its still on that desk, its not the same product, its duplicate that was replicated not transferred. AM I GETTING THROUGH NOW???
  11. I actually think Reverse time travel is more possible than Forward time travel. Just on the basis of something that hasnt happened yet, cannot be forced to happen faster, but something that has already happened can be revisited. I dont know of any mechanism or any way to alter the time dimensions but if there were, i think backwards time travel would be more probable.
  12. because there are certain cells and atoms and things that are unique to each individual so there is a difference.
  13. I am saying there is a difference between a gradual natural replacement of cells and a complete synthetic replacement, and my main point is that recreating is not the same as transferring! is it that hard to understand? BTW Navajo YOU SHUTUP!
  14. Thank you, thats exactly what im saying. And teleporting is transferring atoms not recreating them, there is a difference.
  15. but your NOT transferring, you are replicating which is what my point is.
  16. the whole basis of your arguement is self defeating becasue even if other people cant tell the difference, you are clearly stating that there are 2 seperates objects even if they are the same thing, one is being destroyed and another created. hence it doesnt matter if the creation is an exact REPLICA, its not the original even if it is the same as teh original down to the last atom
  17. look, we can look at this from a biological standpoint. You are created from a sperm and egg, your replica, wouldnt be, so there is a difference in how you were created. Also, there are untangible things that arent stored in cells, so there would have to be some difference.
  18. like i said, they may be indistinguishable but that doesnt change the fact that they are different. And you are the same person 20 years from now, because even though your atoms are constantly being replaced it doesnt all happen at once, and you arent DESTROYED and recreated all at the same time!
  19. Obviously you have mistaken this person who you said was inferior for yourself. First of all its not teleportation because you are CREATING A REPLICA OF THE INDIVIDUAL not the original itself. Even though they might be indistinguishable, the original was still destroyed and you still created a replica. That is Cloning NOT teleporting. Even though the person may have the same everything as the original it doesnt change the fact that its not an original hence its not teleporting.
  20. If there was once life, do you think that if we could capture a speiciment of what is now left, and bring it back to our atmosphere if we could bring it back to life, or find a way to recreate the species?
  21. Faf, what is the theory that says you can prevent the crystalization of water in the human body. It seems impossible, but if you have a link or something that I can go to, which explains it, post it please
  22. I just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on the subject. If anyone knows what the current usage is, and what is the risk factor in using it. Also, I know there have been many rumors of people being frozen, but i was wondering what is the longest someone has been frozen, and are there any people right now, who are frozen, inorder to preserve their lives, and want to wake up in a few years
  23. I will pay someone 25,000 if they can solve the hodge conjecture, no joke. Chew on this Faf
  24. blike, fibonacci sequence are 5th grade stuff man. Just rely on your hotornot replies for women and pay attention
