  2. Oh it's been a bit of a roller coaster, but the way he has handled conflict thus far has spoken volumes of his character. I'm doing my best this time around to judge more on actions than words, cuz I'm a sucker for a sweet talker. This guy is really walkin the talk and gaining my admiration.
  3. Correct I usually train one to two muscle groups at a time and usually have a total of 9-12 sets. That is a general rule of thumb to keep you from overtraining a specific muscle group. By then if you lift with intensity, glycogen stores will be low and ATP production will slow to a hault so anything past that for muscle growth is futile.

  6. Mass building sets are around 6-8 reps. 10 is usually the standard if you are just speaking in general terms. Sounds like you're doing some highly aerobic endurance training which is detrimental to actual muscle growth. If your goal isn't to gain mass, then that workout is just fine... Generally speaking 25 reps is very high..

  10. That is awesome! Stay natural... MMA huh... You know Ken Shamrock, Chris Leben, Sean Sherk, Hermes Franca all got suspended and tested positive for steroid use right? And those are just a few that got caught. I'm not trying to advocate or discourage, I'm just trying to be real with you. Set-amount of reps done consecutively. Does that make sense? example: So you might do 3 sets @ 10 reps on the bench press. Resting anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes in between for recovery.

Plus with all the new aging clinics popping up, doctors are prescribing GH and Testosterone as Hormone Replacement Therapy Legally.   14. FFS! Look, I post on other boards. I'm more of the fitness type so I post on fitness and nutrition boards. I was just looking for some insight from a different crowd, I'm sorry if you think it's lame. If you think that, then don't respond. He's a kind genuine man. He made 2 undetectable designer steroids for BALCO before they went down in 2007. He did his time and now he has a legitimate company and works very hard at designing supplements. He drinks because it's how he manages his stress (not saying it's right or wrong) but he's still being harassed and investigated by the DEA. For some reason they have picked him out and want to make an example of him. They recently raided his lab and seized everything. At any time they can find some sort of bullshit reason to lock him up. They accuse him of spiking supplements with andro.(the once legal steroid Mark McGuire used to hit all those home runs) Obviously if it were true he'd be back in prison. I asked him to stop drinking and he did. Then we broke up and he started again. Did you know that congress spent more time debating steroids in 2007 than they did on Health Care, and why the levies broke in New Orleans. I love him, he'd do anything for me and I'd stand by him. My only dilemma or the thing that I question is if I'm ready to settle down. And you all are right that's my decision to make. So don't hate if I'm not posting about wtf mitochondria's role is in mRNA. Shit, there's more to life than that. Anyway, that's my rant. I just thought I'd share.   15. Use a pre digested Whey Isolate that is low in sugar. Optimum Nutrition makes a decent one that is relatively inexpensive or try Gaspari Whey. If Whey upsets your tummy look for a good Casein Protein. Don't be afraid of supplements. The studies on creatine are hit and mis. Try a creatine supplement mixed with NO2 for a good blast. Look up High Intensity Training. You have to stretch (rip/hypertrophy) the muscle fascia to a point where it actually has to repair itself. Or else you will never get over that 200lb bench bud... Hmmm I can't judge because I have my own problems, but he drinks excessively and I worry about him.   17. He is a big dork, but his heart is so special and soooo sweet... I just love him!!! We haven't been intimate yet... We're waiting. I think he may be the guy... We both have our strengths. Even though he's older I have a little more street smarts combined with my chemistry knowledge. After being a dancer for 4 years, I'm not afraid to tell someone to F off or a shotty deal is a shotty deal. He's a little more reserved but still very masculine. Love it!!!
  18. We just broke up:( He's in Illinois and I don't want to move. Plust I have to move to Arizona for the summer. I could move to Illinois and finish my other degree there... **shrug** but he's stressed building a new company and I don't exactly have my sheeiit together either. Bummer, now I'm wondering if I made the right decision. However, I know I'm the most important thing in my life and need to take care of myself first.
