  3. well obviously i wouldn't be here if i wasnt stuck and no this isnt a homework assignment and yes i've already drawn the triange in order to visualize it and you can't do it using simple triangle rules... plus have any of you tried doing it before you answered here thx anyway..

The lines (BE) and (AD) intersect at M, and the line thorugh E parallel to (BC) intersects (AD) in F. a) Prove that MD + 4MF = 0 and MB + 4ME = 0. Deduce that 2MA + 3MD=0 b) Show that 5MC = 2CA + CB c) Define L by CL + 2 CA = 0 and I by LI = BC. Prove that C, M, and I are collinear. thx

  7. it says that they are used as tracers and how it is done, but the explanation is too superficial. Do you know the exact method of how they detect leakeges? as in a step by step thing

    Ya dragons are really something that would be cool if they truly did once exist, But unfortunately it's highly immposible. I doubt there's a possibilty at all. What was the documental called?where did you see it?

  10. sorry to bother you all again, but i'm having a problem with radioactivity again. I've read that these radioactive isotopes can detect oil leakages. I've ran searches but haven't found any results on exactly how this process occurs. can anyone give me any info? thx

    School Project

    well if there's any biological problems in your community then you should research ways to resolve That exact problem, i have experience in science fairs and i know judges just love it when you do something for the community.. dont get too broad on your subject, like dont do something that would benefit another area, city whatever... do one for your own.. if there's any pollution problem in yor area you can experiment on different ways to reslove that problem... errr just out of curiosity were you born on june?

  13. then how are the bacteria killed if you say that a gamma ray cannot peneterate the nucleus and make it break apart?
  14. so I understand this is a nono for the agriculture industry. or is it that they only apply it to products that are ready to be shipped and not used for "breeding" purposes?

  18. hmm ya rate of decay, i already wrote a whole c++ program on that.. a calculator with all radioactive isotopes and their half lives, which can calculate the total amount left over a certain period of time.. or vice versa with the time spent after a certain portion have decomposed... anyway i might experiment with what YT2095 mentioned. That is, the indefinate shelf life after implementing radioisotopes to food....
  19. mmm.. yeah heat does speed up a process, and it would be useful and enviromentally friendly if it were contained.. but is it better than all other options? i might actually experiment on this...

  22. its used in bombs... many nations used it to devolp mines and other explosives during WWII
  23. what i thought was that if i added these isotopes to dumpsites which are isolated from most inhabited "living" areas that it wouldn't have much affect on the enviroment.. of course some of the enviroment might be endagered like the animals that inhabit dumpsites, but the pros would far outweigh the cons. should i go with it or not??
  24. yes i know.. thats why i said increase the rate of.... they will serve as a catalyst.... and it'll take them a while to "eventually" decompose anybody else.. any comments at all??
