  1. This is not the same gesture but I wonder what it means?Untitled 2.tiff
  2. Can someone elaborate about how and what a magnetic field line exists that is found in the empty space that surrounds a planet? I'm not talking about the ionized particles that flow along these magnetic field lines but rather the lines themselves. For example, for Earth, is the magnetic iron core somehow emitting electromagnetic photons from one pole which traverse to the other pole? Do magnetic field lines somehow influence the spacetime surrounding a planet such as Earth?
  3. recently while riding my bike an oncoming jogger moved out of my path so could I move forward freely ( there was another oncoming jogger to my right who prevented me from moving out of his way). In return I offered a thanks by opening my hand with all fingers splayed and palm facing him. He made a downward facing pointing gesture with his index finger and middle finger together and thumb extended with the back of his hand facing me. What does this gesture mean exactly?
  4. does the vertebral artery go all the way up to the anterior of the medulla oblongata near the pontine artery?
  5. is the olfactory sulcus hidden by the olfactory tract and olfactory bulb? If not, is it more medial than the orbital sulcus? thanks
  6. I just want to check - does the superior thalamostriate vein really run near the margin of the occipital lobe and the temporal lobe in association with the pia mater? I am using a software from 3d4medical called brain pro. Sometimes it mislabels anatomical locations with its' pins system for labeling. thanks for your help
  7. I need someone to clarify slightly the anatomical locations of these terms cuneate tubercle, gracile tubercle, cuneate fasciculus, gracile fasciculus. At the anterior of the spinal cord, will you find the cuneate tubercle a little up the the spinal cord and laterally and then a separate anatomical locaton more medial to that cuneate tubercle you will find what is called the gracile tubercle? Then a little below the gracile tubercle though still anterior you will find the cuneate fasciculus more medially and the gracile fasciculus more laterally to the cuneate fasciculus? Does cuneate fasciculus and gracile fasciculus extend all the way up to the pyramids on the spinal cord anteriorly? Or just until they reach the cuneate tubercle and gracile tubercle? Further on the posterior of the spinal cord does the gracile fasciculus extend up only until the gracile tubercle? If so does the cuneate fasciculus flank both sides of the gracile fasciculus and perhaps flank also the gracile tubercle? The software I'm using does not illustrate it quite clearly so the relationship between these anatomical locations is a bit confusing to me. thanks for your time.
  8. I use an anatomy software called Brain Pro from 3d4medical and it has some flaws because it uses older 2D technology for images and highlights anatomical areas by pins. Can someone clarify for me the difference between the posterior commissure and the tectum of the midbrain? thanks
